How offensive should really be done. Need I say more?
Fantastic job to both Weebl and PEAB0. Weebl, I believe that this Savlonic song was done better than Wandering Eye with it's smoother feel, and an opening that doesn't rush into the song, but gives you time to adjust to the feel which is something that I was slightly agitated with when listening to Wandering Eye (though it is still a wonderful song) 5/5. PEAB0, your animations for Savlonic are above par by a major percentage, and watching these videos really makes me just feel giddy being able to watch an animation which has so much fluent movement, amazing character drawing (though the 4 fingers on the hands does annoy me a touch, but I never lessen an animator for that because it is one of the hardest things to pull off really well at times). The one thing I would say is to put a bit more detail into backgrounds, such as during the mustang going over the bridge, there wasn't much detail on the bridge itself, and a little something in the background wouldn't have hurt just for a little filler, even something like a couple little clouds. Also during the bath running part I could have used a touch more detail, or another item that was on/in the tub, and the flooded room downstairs was a little too simple, because when the girl comes into the frame, it looks slightly strange with a detailed woman set in a room with little detail. Overall, the characters are very well done (and have developed a little more since Wandering Eye), the fluent movement of everything and the detail on everything in main frame is amazing, but be wary of some backgrounds because even though some were very well done, some just seemed empty or slightly too simplistic 4/5 Keep up the good songs and smashing animations, and I can't wait to hear another Savlonic song -Staadsy
If this was a usual one of my reviews it would be lengthy and very detailed, but I haven't much time at the moment, so I will put it to you simply. The voice acting is not done well, and the type animation good be done quite better. Don't try to rip off a voice, create one of your own, and don't crowd screen with type, or use a colour that doesn't agree with the others (the "so creative" is an example during the epik!, awesome, etc.). 6/10 Be wary my friend, making a fan piece is alright, but if you do, include your own style in someway and don't just try to make a recreation of what they did, because it will not go over that well in the long run. At first there will probably be a few laughs, but with out originality, it will fade -Staadsy
First and foremost, I want to see a sequel to this, but secondly and second-most, there a lot of improvements that could be made. First off the music is good, but it is missing from any areas with voice acting, and this an amateur mistake. Even the faintest of music will add an amazing feel to a scene because it is most of the time unconsciously heard but still noticed. Next, the text doesn't fit with the style of the game at all. If I saw text in that sort of world I would expect something a little more curvy without so much neatness to it, because even the smallest of aspects affect a games quality. There was also the problem of cut-scenes being a little slow at times and I think voice acting could have had a little more time put into it. More story could have been used as well because it was slightly confusing at times as to what was going on. I also had a very hard time understanding where she was after she brought the ticket booth attendant more money. A train? A hotel? The attendant didn't say a word which really confused me because how am I supposed to know if she's on a train or in a hotel? There was one other thing of not enough levels and the difficulty not varied enough and the cave was a pointless add-in as there was no challenge in it. I'm not saying that it is a bad game, but it is not well executed in areas and has a lot more potential than material in it's present state. There are things that are done very well, the game has a beautiful score and is very tough sometimes to say the least. Thanks for reading and responses are always nice to have -Staadsy
I think I'm the only one who understands
Out of everyone who has reviewed this game I think I'm the only one so far who has understood that this game is a comedy, a parody of every stupid ass RPG that just leads along and you don't have to do a damn thing because you really can't lose. On a note more inclined towards the actual game itself is that it is good in the fact that music is pretty good, the voice acting is bad in a sense that increases the comedy, and the simple quirks that it has at points really makes my sides split. 10/10 I have to say that anyone who denounces this game is either some stupid fucking troll, or must be a total buzz killer in real life, because this shows a humour that only a true genius could perceive
This game to me seems to have a lot of potential, but lacks the ability to capture my attention fully. To be honest the random clusters of rain deters from the fun of the game in the fact, that five seconds after it starts, you can tell you aren't going to last another five let alone 10 seconds. 6/10 Work on presentation, mixing up some stuff color wise can always draw someone's attention better than something created with nearly all the same colors. Also remember that you want the game to be a challenge, not something that will give you an aneurysm after beginning gameplay. Overall a good idea that should be tweaked upon and maybe you'll get a nine out of me then
A wub by any other name is just as wub.
I like it, but that's Song of Storms, not Lost Woods
Well it's been quite a while since the last vocal submission, but I must say time hasn't changed the beauty in your voice. Just like Zelda's Lullaby this has amazing vocal work, and the lyrics for the most part work very well with the song and reflect the tone and feel of the song. There was a spot in the beginning in which the pitch went off some, and I would have liked it to all be in Latin compared to about half and half because it works better with the song feel, and the song sounded overall better during the Latin section of the lyrics. 4.5/5 I don't like it quite as much as Zelda's Lullaby, but it is still very well done, and though pitch goes off a couple times in the beginning and my preference would have rather had Latin lyrics for the feel of the song, I still like it quite a bit. Also, the download doesn't work for me, so I was wondering if you disabled downloads? Thanks for reading -Staadsy
I never pitch correct my vocals, which will sometimes create the "Live Off-Pitch" problem. And I decided to keep the lyrics half Latin/half English simply because that's how it came to me that night. But I am happy that you gave me your honest feedback. It's very helpful ^_^
ZERO THE THIRD! It's awesome to see that there are more people that have played Virtue's Last Reward! Plus this is a great piece of artwork with very nice details.
I like the different sort of feel of this picture, it really works with the strange nature of the show I guess.
I could say that I can name around 40 of the characters on this, can't quite remember those last ones though. Fantastic piece though! This is a really amazing way to bring together a lot of the year's best characters. There are two I wish were on here though; the kid or the egoraptor incarnation from 'Relive Your Life', and the Pico Radio version of Pico. Fantastic job, keep up the great work!
